Recently, I’ve been reflecting on my spiritual healing journey, and it has become clear that I am responsible for my own healing — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. This responsibility often shows up physically too, reminding me that true wholeness touches every part of our lives.
We don’t have to wait for an apology to forgive, and we don’t have to wait for others to acknowledge our pain to heal. Healing is not passive; it requires intention, courage, and partnership with God. The ultimate aim is to become whole, and fully restored in body, mind, and spirit.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
– 3 John 1:2 –
How I’m Choosing to Heal
As we enter a new month, I’m intentionally committing to actions that nurture my spiritual and emotional wholeness:
- Praying and meditating on God’s Word daily
Inviting God into every area that hurts and seeking His guidance.
- Seeking wise counsel
Connecting with mentors and trusted friends for support and clarity.
- Setting healthy boundaries
Protecting my peace and prioritising my emotional well-being.
- Engaging in self-care
Honouring my body, mind, and soul as acts of stewardship and restoration.
You can read more about how I invest in rest and embrace self-care here.
Remember: Healing Is a Journey
Healing doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a progressive journey, not a moment. Walk with God through it, and allow His grace to gently restore the places where pain once lived.
